Nobody Dies 04:23
Nobody Dies I keep seeing your face quivering at the point just before the surface is broken time is an ocean and you get squeamish of all the creatures you may have woken I want to lay out in the sun some more splayed out with our arms entwined with no where to be with nothing in mind he wants to live inside a picture frame captured forever in a perfect light where nobody moves and nobody dies time moves in great waves sometimes overlaps we watch the real things in a surface-y trance no one else here to witness your starfish dance or our sand angels as they wash away in the dark I want to lay out in the sun some more splayed out with our arms entwined holding our thoughts out of our minds he wants to live inside a picture frame captured forever in a perfect light where nobody moves and nobody dies

Blue Arc 03:47
Blue Arc dark stuff the matter of heart dissolving in the light moot point all that we’re left with is our appetite red plate a porcelain bull you may feel nauseous as we travel the parabola like microwaves from exotic locales transmitting data feeding the bluest arc its total control to be the whole of the part and a part of the whole now lets go outside and lay on the grass and sip at the sunlight through imaginary glass fade in he lies there open as a memory bleeds out running freely as a reverie soft wall a matter of heart fortifications and an arrow from a rampart strays into sea anemone territory and its o.k because we’re guided by the bluest arc its total control to be the whole of the part and a part of the whole now lets go outside and lay on the grass and sip at the sunlight through imaginary glass to choke on a pearl, how very baroque to go with a flourish as they’re running amok remind to remain in a mind how the fruit filled your mouth how you left me the rind

Ammonite 04:42
Ammonite I press my broken ear full of the scum of sound to the chest of the common ancestor to the heart of the heartless-land hearing everything in the oldest night he crackles in the static he fades into the light in the wake of thunder in the shadow of a dream I am crawling towards him slowly upstream and we’re lit by lightning on a luminous beach as he darkly whispers ‘I’m within your reach’ white song sung sore in a thrown voice swells up in the shell of a man whose heart by rote learns every note whose fossilized ammonite ears divine their right his body mollusk-like in a violent sleep encrusted in her echoes awaits his slow release in the wake of thunder in the shadow of a dream, she is crawling towards him slowly upstream and they’re lit by lightning on a luminous beach as she darkly whispers ‘i’m within your reach’

Coals 03:53
Coals He’s hot footed it over hope’s scorching coals he’s known hope that runs true as the rivers’ blue soul and to crack like a husk and get squirreled away to talk off hind legs and have nothing to say I see it in the rim of their eyes I hear it in the call of dead I see it in the sunlight in your eyes and i hear it in the things that you say she could smell him burning but couldn’t find a flame he squeaked into the embers she went back the way she came across the plains of poppies and through the limestone caves between the bramble thickets and over unmarked graves I see it in the rim of her eyes I hear it in the call of the dead I see it in the sunlight in your eyes i hear it in the things that you said i hear it in the call of the damned its twirling in the dance of the dead it plays in the sunlight in your eyes and in the things that you said

Another Sky 03:28
Another Sky words fall short a bruise appears slack drawn up by other disciplines faithful leap to bridge the gap close my eyes and just like that and I am drawn I am drawn up to a height and I am high I am part of another sky and I am drawn I am drawn into your light I can leave any time deep well welling up with noise abstract and articulate I can hear it in the void I can hear it in your voice and I am drawn I am drawn up to a height and I am high I am part of another sky and I am drawn I am drawn into your light I can leave any time
